Some history around the Del Mar Condominiums (SE Hawthorne & 29th), formerly Del-Mar, built in 1931. Documentation of this apartment building’s opening found via the resources at the Oregon Historical Society, along with the obituary of the builder and owner, R.S. McFarland, noting that this was the fifth of its kind of building he erected in the city.
